Butt sale and donation. As a result, approximately 50 Boston Butts were donated to Tabitha’s Place. Tabitha’s Place is a not-for-profit family owned and operated soup kitchen that supplies hot meals to the homeless and homebound of the community. Tabitha’s Place also has a bath house on property that provides hot showers and laundry. It is estimated that the donated Boston Butts will feed over 2,300 people over the course of the year. Furthermore, the Swamp Rats donated Boston Butts to first responders to show their support and appreciation for their continued selfless service to the community.
